Everybody must have the my time or our own time in life . It gives so much of happiness and a different feel from within . One such place is the picture that you see .
This is the first place we go when we land at Chennai. Let me tell you what it is . This is the step where we sit and drink madras coffee early in the morning probably between 5 -7 am . That feeling of a coffee is unexplainable :)
Normally we travel in night flights as tungli will also sleep and we can start the day in a happy note . So once we reach Chennai we leave tungli to her paati( grandmother) as they would be busy playing and talking and myself and naveen would have a walk to this roadside shop for a cup of coffee .
That feel of walking and the coffee is everything ♡
The birds chirping, ladies making kolam designs,newspaper and milk delivery guy ,and the temple bells .
So this steps is our 1st spot at Chennai with a coffee and some extra love . Those two dogs are tunglis favourite. Sometimes we feed biscuits to them .
Writing this itself gives me hope that probably in 2021 or 2022 we would go here again .
Is there any place like this that you visit once you reach your hometown ?

It is important to savour such seemingly inconsequential aspects of life. I can imagine the sort of energy that such spots and actions bring.

DeleteI am from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. When I go to visit, I go to Signal Hill to look out over the city, and to Cape Spear. It is the most easterly point in North America.
