Last post of 2019

2019 has been an ok ok year I would say a mixture of tension , harwork, dedication, self esteem, patience , arguments, tears etc I am happy that I am making this the last post of 2019 What are the few things that 2019 taught me and what am i taking forward. 1. This year after going to Armenia( tunglis 1st vacation ) I decided every year a vacation is must because tungli enjoys it and as a family we get a good time to spend and end up with lot of memories and experiences . 2. Not to spend too much of money on birthday party instead go for a vacation 3.Save money as much as you can because liquid cash is always needed . Very important . 4.Kids will eat only what they want and not what you want them to eat so let them go in their way . 5. Never trust anyone because you never know how things will turn down so trust yourself and move on . 6. Hardwork and patience will definitely give results . 7.Deal most of the things with patience because it helps you keep calm and do...

Few life lessons

So as I have woke up early today and sent naveen to office with lunch boxes sitting with a coffee here with a positive head just thought of pointing few life lessons that i follow towards my daughter . 1.Allow the kid to talk whatever they want . Give that freedom so that they can be a better person 2.If you give them a task to complete and even if they dont like it  somehow make them to complete it so that they will learn to take responsibility of doing it . Try your best that they complete it . 3.Show them unconditional love . That's all that that need .If you dont then they might do things in a secret way and end up in problems when they grow up . 4 .If they say anything listen to them .They might be right . Do not think only you know everything because you are the parent . 5.Do not argue or fight with them .If they dont react properly definitely there is a reason behind it .Try to find and solve it or find an alternative way . 6.Do not enforce them in life .They m...

Appa

Reading these letters I get that pain in my throat But not tears in my eyes because I dont have much of it. The only thing I thought reading it is ,if at all I had been a grown up that day or if I had the money that I have now these letters would have not been alive . I am so sorry that I couldn't help you in any way or save you,I was too small . I would have never let you ask help to any But there is one thing that we learned from you.. Live life to the fullest because its uncertain and I also understood that humans are selfish and jealous most of the time . I am happy that you brought up us as good humans who understands others and live a meaningful life with humanity. You taught us life in a very young age and I dont know whether to be proud of it or sad about it . Love you dad

Onam 2019 _ Dubai

Happy Onam to all of you . My onam memories goes on like this . We lived in a house which was located in a village in palakkad . We had a big veranda to make the pookalam ( designs) . I am actually good in climbing walls and trees like monkeys to pluck the flowers from the backyard .Myself , my brother and sister would take a basket and go to the backyard early in the morning and make sure we get the bestest flowers. We have to really go early or else others would have taken all the flowers hence it's a funny task . Some days we get many flowers and some days it's one or two that's all. The flowers which we had in the backyard were chebaruthi , sangu pushpam ,pavizha malli, nandhiyarvattai and there is something called as mathan poo ( pumpkin flower )and pasharu(green algea). We used take the algae from the walls of wells at home . On the day of Onam alone we go sultanpet market with our father to buy flowers .Rest of the days we make pookalam with the flowers we have ...

Q&A Part 2

Shyam adithya How do u manage to put on that innocent smile always (though I know u r not one!! ;)) Good one. This is why you are my friend :) Because I know the person on other side is not worth my time or arguing to . I just put a smile on my face and walk off .If I dont do that then its known what will happen next. Boys are innocent while comparing to girls. Bhuvana Aunty  How you face your stressful moment. Let me know pls When I get stressed I think that there is no use getting stressed because nobody will help me come out of it and I have to find a way myself . Hence in that way i will think for a solution and fix it. Shyam How do you manage to be slim always ? Few things that I dont eat are any masala items, junk, non veg, carbonated and fried. Q & A

Alright just thought of a Q nd A session with my friends and bloggers around.  These were the questions that popped in and here i go honestly. Vidhya I have amazed by your positivity how can you be more confident and bold ? I think I have always been positive and also seeing the real people from the age of 13 has made me to this confident, bold and positive person.I accept the reality of life .You know that and you have been a part of few happenings in my life .So that's my answer. Deepika How you got interest in drawing and cooking ? I observe everything and put it on a paper from there drawing started .Then I always love colourful things hence I paint . There is so much life to an art work. Cooking - Naveen loves food hence I show interest in it and food is everything . Barath How are you ? Are you happy in your life ? This might seem like a funny question but I know that not many ask you this when we really want someone to ask us. First of all  thank you for t...

Hair tips

Alright so today I decided to write a beauty post so that it might be helpful for many . Hair fall and baldness is the biggest problem these days . Most of the young generation doesnt have hair .So before I loose my hair I decided to maintain it as much as I can . Living in Dubai and maintaining your hair is a big thing . Few things that I follow. 1. I use a wooden comb . 2. I comb my hair once I wake up and before going to sleep so that all the weak hair falls off and the scalp feels good . 3.I wash my hair 3 or 4 times a week . 4. I use only coconut oil or sesame oil for my hair . 5.I do not use shampoo instead I use a homemade paste which I prepare . After doing this I find great improvement in my hair quality . Though the length is short the hair which is present looks decent . There were days when I coloured my hair pink, violet, blue etc. I have done all the possible hairstyles and what not but now i have settled with these tips because I know if i continue doing...

SAVE H2O

To begin with I am a tamilian who knows malayalam .My childhood was at Muscat, salalah and palakkad . According to me I never wanted to marry a Chennai boy because in my perception tamilnadu was a place which has no water Whenever I switched on the TV I remember seeing ladies standing under a tap with colourful cans on the roads .I remember telling my mother when I grow up and you search for a groom do mention that I wont get married to a Chennai boy . And , I ended up falling in love with a Chennai boy and marrying him ♡ . Then I realised the scenes which I saw in the TV when I was small is not actually the scene. Today facing the water scarcity in Tamil I feel miserable. Its very difficult to manage . I just thought about pregnant ladies, I'll people, ladies on periods etc etc .You dont have water for anything . JUST IMAGINE I have no idea why this place ended up to be so . Myself being a nature lover have always wanted to stay In a village , with fresh air ,water ,mounta...

What are some of the most important lessons about money/people/society you have personally learned over the past years? And did any of these lessons surprise you? Let's find what people have to say on this . Post in your views .

Social rules

1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your call that mean they have something more important to attend to. 2. When someone drops something on the floor by mistake or drops food from the plate or doesn’t know how to use a knife/fork don’t stare at them. The same goes to people sneezing, coughing or even an uncontrollable fart. It’s an involuntary reaction. 3. Always skip using the washroom beside the occupied one. It makes it uneasy for the person in the occupied washroom as well as yourself if you occupy the one right next to theirs. 4. Return money that you have borrowed even before the other person remembers lending it to you. Be it 1Rs or 100Rs. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with umbrellas, pens and lunch boxes. 5. Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is treating you for lunch/dinner. If possible ask them to order their choice of food for you. 6. Don’t ask awkward questions like ‘Oh so you aren’t ...

9 changes for ♡

A very happy 2019 to all of you .I know that it's late but that's ok there is always a chance for a good start . So today I thought to write about 9 things that I stopped doing after having tungli in our life . As i am everything for tungli and i am at home taking care of her many things have changed in our life. If there are any new mom's here I think they can relate and also let me know what has changed in your life after having a baby . 1. I stopped bathing in the morning .I normally bath 3 times a day . The situation now is I have to bath in the morning before naveen goes for work or else the only possible time is at night after he comes back home so that he will take care of tungli .Somtimes there are chances that I just have a quick bath while she is asleep .  2.I stopped doing my mild make up too because I don't get time and when I go out I prefer dressing up tungli more than myself . 3. I don't get much time to paint . 4.I stopped...
