I have made some handmade greeting cards during this lockdown . I know that going to a shop and buying gifts is not possible additionally I am someone who loves small things and that too which is handmade or written one . I find happiness in the smallest of things .
I have left that white blank space in between to write the message . I have given few to whomever possible .The rest I have written and kept probably would give it when I meet the person after this period of world .

ReplyDeleteI am reminded of my father who used to make small boxes with discarded boxes in which various consumer items like toothpaste, milk powder, Horlicks etc come. He used to gift them to, mainly, his students who used to come home to meet him.
He also used to make albums and present them to, mainly his former students, on occasions like wedding etc. Though they were amateurishly made they are valued much more than the ones that are bought from stores.
Yes definitely . Even I used to made from the age of 3 or 4 . Now my daughter does the same .
DeleteHandmade greetings are best and that too using our own thoughts as messages is worth lot than buying a greeting cards from shop. I used to make greeting cards with the help of photoshop using my own photos of nature and cousins photos to send them during festival times. But now I stopped creating and sending greeting cards as our relationships becomes different.

Yes the last line I agree a lot . These days it's like that . But I help tungli in making cards and send to my cousins sons and daughter . I am trying to bring her up as a good human thou not every cousin look at us that way . We can be good to others hence .
